Duo Wheels

Duo Wheels using Michael Miller new collection

I just made another pillow using the same fabric from Michael Miller. I think it looks nicer to have 2 of them instead of one.  But finally just sent one to BKK to my friend’s shop.  Hope she will like it when it arrived her.

Some of my friends when looked at my post requested me to make more for them.  So, this week not only have to finish my Pinky Quilt but will try to make some more, the small one, for my friends too. So enjoy to make it.

The Sweetest Side Of Me By Nida White

Hot Day

20110424-063023.jpg

Such a hot and sunny day today! But I’ve manage to work on quilting on my Pinky Quilt a bit more. I’ve read some blogs lately about doing circle quilting pattern. So I’m trying to work on this one on my 4th quilt. It is prettier to see it when the circle is bigger and bigger. Just wonder whether I can finish it within next week? Let’s see how far I can do

I need to turn the air con off while doing quilting, the dust from batting is hugh and I need lots of air flow otherwise the whole room will be covered with the dust from the batting. But it is so blooming hot!! I guess today the temp should be around 36 degree. I just want to live in the colder country so I can enjoy the fresh cool air while I’m quilting and covered with unfinished blanket.

Now it is time to stop after spent most of the Easter Day sewing. Should spend more time with family, I think 🙂

The Wheel On The Bus Goes Round and Round

My son calls this pillow "The Wheel on the Bus Pillow"

I just made 2 new pillows.  After checked the tutorial from Cluck Cluck Sew blog I want to make it right away.  It took me around 4 hours to make these two pillows.  I really love it, also my son and my daughter.  I’m thinking to make more and bring it to my show in BKK on June as well.  But next one I will try to make it grown up look a bit more.  Thinking about using Michael Miller Gypsy Bandana collection and also Jennifer Paganelli but not sure which collection yet.

14" diameter pillows

Cathedral Window

Lately I have been busy working on making Cathedral Window pillow cases.  I am planning to make 3 for my friend’s shop in Bangkok.  However, it is not an easy work for the beginner like me.  After study for a while, reading the book, watching YouTube, and study blog’s tutorial so I tell myself it is the time to start doing it.

After finished the first row I am quite enjoy makeing it. It is difiicult and take longer time than I thought.  But the outcome is very satisfied.
